This is the case of Zuhair Murad, known for his romantic, glamorous and dazzling models. The stylist, who signs a good part of the looks he wears on international red carpets, is known for his collections full of appliqués, embroidery, lace, marked waists and lace details.
About Zuhair Murad
Zuhair Murad is Lebanese, born in Beirut, but graduated in fashion in Paris. The first studio was launched in his hometown, in 1991, where he still works by appointment. In 2001, the stylist debuted at the Paris Fashion Week.
In a short time, the collections have also started to parade through the red carpets, dressed by Shakira, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez and many other famous ones.
Today, it is possible to have access to Zuhair Murad's dresses also in his shop in Paris and in a showroom in Milan. There are haute couture collections, ready-to-wear and, of course, one exclusively for brides.
In addition to his own collections, the stylist also has partnerships with big names. In 2013, the designer signed a collection of wedding dresses especially for Rosa Clará, with lots of tulle and lace overlaid, impeccable finishes and lace details. Some models even left the veils aside and made room for the fascinators, attracting the attention of many fashion connoisseurs and, of course, brides.
Famous people who used Zuhair Murad
Many famous have already used models signed by Zuhair Murad, both brides and celebs who chose the designer's looks. Kristen Bell rocked the Emmy Awards, Anitta participated in the recording of "Caldeirão de Ouro", a year-end special of the program "Caldeirão do Huck", with a model valued at R$ 30 thousand.
The stylist has also dressed celebrities like Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez. Plus, he signed a dress for Barbie, that's right! To create the model, Zuhair Murad was inspired by his own creation, which was used by Blake Lively in the preview of the movie Savages, in 2012.
In 2015, Sofia Vergara got married wearing a Zuhair Murad Couture, who became known and caught the attention of the tabloids. The model was designed exclusively for the Colombian actress. The sweetheart neckline, the waisted cut, the long train: all the details were designed with Sofia's body in mind.
The piece was all sewn and embroidered by hand with silk, tulle, pearls and crystals. A delicate pearl belt was made to finish off the look. The making of the bride's dress lasted approximately 1,657 hours. This is thanks to the richness of details in the embroidery. A team of 32 people worked tirelessly to complete the dress project in time for the big day.
Geometry and architectural silhouettes make up Zuhair Murad's collection. The inspiration from the Art Deco of the 30s brought a lot of boldness and emphasis to the new customs.

The designs were marked by off-the-shoulder prom dresses with long sleeves, overlapping skirts and the abuse of chiffon. For the more modern brides, feather ornaments gave an old Hollywood feel, like movie stars.
And, of course, Zuhair Murad bet on his trademark: embroidered flowers dominated the outfits, along with appliqués in lace and crystals. For the more traditional brides, Zuhair designed lighter dresses - compared to the striking models -, such as the strapless strap, which featured a tulle skirt and a lace belt, bringing elegance in the best way.
